WITH INPUT from the owners, builders and Lift Shop, the perfect location to provide access between floors with minimal disruption was chosen. In this case the solution was a glass shaft and E1 lift sitting outside the home and tucked into a discrete corner.
Making the most of the garden views and also allowing maximum light in at the upper floor, the owners are delighted with their new lift and the finishes chosen. Namely, super polished stainless steel door at the lower level and powdercoated panoramic P1 Max glass door at the upper level to match the shaft. The cabin interior included one full size glass wall and the other two walls in F41PPS brushed stainless steel look skinplate and matching profiles. To make the cabin as streamlined as possible, the flush mounted push button telephone and flush slimline car operating panel were located in the front corner of the cabin – hardly noticeable at all.
As always with our glass shafts, the outside cabin components were clad in F41PPS skinplate to make sure it looks just as good from the outside as it does on the inside.
