Blending in with the rest of the doors, the landing doors were fitted with timber mouldings and door furniture identical to those elsewhere. Extra height was also artificially achieved by cleverly adding higher architraves and extended timber panelling to make the lift doors appear the same height as other doors. The lift buttons were fitted into the walls so as to not impact on the architraves.
All the walls of the cabin were framed by heavy black painted timber mouldings and the walls were a combination of both patterned wallpaper and full height mirror. A continuation of the hardwood flooring was carried through to the lift cabin for a perfect tie-in.
Pure excellence inside and out.
