Can You Put a Lift Into an Existing Terrace Home?
DURING THE 19th century, Victorian and Edwardian era terrace houses were a popular style within the older, inner city areas of the major cities, mainly Sydney and Melbourne.
We have had the pleasure of being involved with the modernization of some of these homes when they have been brought into the 21st century with the inclusion of a lift. In these projects, particular attention has usually been needed in regards to the structural stability of the homes and the lift shafts. Working with our experienced sales and operations teams, any issues are worked through with all involved to the ultimate delight of the owners – and to our continued enjoyment in what we do.
